"Build it and they will come" is not a good business strategy.

"Build it and they will steal it" is.

We face a perfect storm of 3 problems:

1) Modern tech is centralized.
2) Modern tech is opaque.
3) Modern tech is addictive.

We urgently need to get past these 3 problems.

Can we agree on a core observation that Bitcoin, the blockchain is conceptually independent of $BTC, the asset?

If the chain supports the movement of assets between blockchains, new systems could be developed that users can adopt by simply reusing the existing on-chain currency.

When financial markets are in turmoil, this often manifests itself as an urge to switch from risk assets to cash. After all, sitting on the sidelines in cash can help you avoid the emotions that come from seeing a big drawdown in your portfolio’s value.

I wish in 2023 we could all just agree on a set of best practices.

Let's build something, find customers, build community, and figure out how we can pivot/scale.
