Trying to understand why Rutgers can’t get at least one of these guys.

Paul Mulcahy of Rutgers is a great kid with a big heart and is a great ambassador for the Rutgers athletic program. The issue is that he was an average player. Rutgers has made the decision to have high quality kids with average to above average talent. They ll never be 30-4.

Although it is disappointing that Rutgers didn’t get into the big tournament, the NIT will give the younger players valuable post season experience. An NIT championship would provide good momentum going into next year.

Extremely proud of the effort put forth by the Rutgers basketball team today. Those kids played their heart out.

I believe that there is something within us that overestimates our ability to achieve goals in short run while underestimating what humans can achieve in the long run. Keep moving the chains.

Very proud of the Rutgers football players who played with all out last night. Goal line defense was incredible. Sean Ryan was terrific.

Greg Schiano has 4 wins this year. That’s a $1 million a win. Mr. Hobbs , 3-6, 5-8 and now 4-4. 12-18 during three seasons. Please stop building for facilities it’s embrassing. Squats, Cleans and Bench Press. That’s all a player needs to get stronger.

Through 8 games the Rutgers Scarlett Knights have 12 sacks. Probably the worst defensive pass rush since the 0-11 1997 team. And here is the worst stat of them all. Simon 6.0 per passing attempt, Vedral 5.7 and Wimsatt 4.6. It’s time to have open tryouts on campus

Rutgers football is in trouble. When Gavin Wimsett ( rutgers best option at quarterback) has a release slower than Tim Tebow (.5 seconds), it’s time to start scheduling Army, William & Mary, Holy Cross and Princeton.
