I realized a long time ago that while standing out was lonely and hard, it has made me who I am.

Being unique and different is one of your best qualities too.

Don’t sacrifice THAT for fake comfort.

Potential CAN be wasted.

Who cares if you don’t feel confident enough?

It doesn’t even matter if you’re READY.

Trust me, there are people out here who can’t boil water who are doing the things you keep talking about.

Distance isn’t the only thing that creates separation between people…

Silence also creates separation…

Maybe you are being silenced and you don’t even know it…

Maybe all you need to do is be silent and allow the separation to happen…

After you feel like someone is avoiding you, don’t bother reaching out.

People have to learn that their issues don’t have to become yours.

You can do bad all by yourself.

Some people will disguise their selfish acts as service to others.

Loyalty shouldn’t be self serving.

It’s very black and white.

Pay attention.

Last night I saw a dope commercial with Emmanuel Acho & LinkedIn around getting a black man a job. It was dope. Wondering if LinkedIn partners with specific communities who to get folks jobs and opportunities? Would love to make that happen on a local level in #Minneapolis.

I know claiming loyalty is the thing these days, but these folks ain’t loyal to you.

They are only loyal to their need of you.

Just wait until their need of you changes. See how loyal they will be then.

Once they don’t need you, they will have no reason to be loyal.
